Hi all. I cannot say it enough thank you for all your support. For those of you unable to support my surgery financially this is your time to shine! I need you so that I can recover safely. This is an extremely crucial part I have the whole surgery journey. After a three day Stay in the hospital following my surgery I will be Recovering at home for about 10 weeks. Please help me stay sane, comfortable, and safe. Each week will be easier than the last but the first four weeks are going to be particularly brutal for me. Types of things I will ask of you are meal prep / making sure I eat , help getting out of bed and shuffling around my apartment, picking up my prescriptions, Taking me to the park in the wheelchair I got (I can’t be walking much at all that first 5-6 weeks but I’ll still want to go outside), And fielding a lot of emotions. The list goes on and on. I will also need overnight stays. You will have your own mattress for overnights. I essentially need 24 hour coverage the first month and then decreasingly so over the next 6 or so weeks. I really cannot do this without all your help. I also want to ensure that I am taking care of you while you’re taking care of me, which is partially why I set up the go fund me. I will take care of meals, Ubers when needed, you name it. While I might ask for small sacrifices during this time period , I do not want you to be uncomfortable or inconvenienced. Please sign up for as many timeslots as possible. Every little bit is extremely extremely meaningful and helpful. The timeslots are set up in two hour increments for ease but if you can only stop by for 30 minutes Please do.
