In December, Mika got an infection that turned into Sepsis, which caused her to be in the hospital for a month. Mika fought her way back, came home, and lasted a week before she was back in the hospital with another infection. Mandy and Jason have been at the hospital with her since she was admitted on Thursday. UC does have meal cards, but they are $10 a meal, which can be expensive. Anything helps and thank you for helping!
Special Notes
If you take food to the Salensky’s, please text them and make sure that it’s okay to bring it to them at the hospital. They have requested small portions because they do not eat much and do not have a place to store leftovers.☺️
