At the end of June 2024 after suffering from headaches and double vision, Ellie was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor and admitted to the Children's Hospital in Portland. There she underwent brain surgery in early July and spent the summer recovering. We were initially hopeful that surgery would be the end of this journey, unfortunately at 8 weeks her MRI showed that her tumor was already regrowing meaning we need to move forward with further treatment. Over the next few months Ellie will be receiving weekly Chemotherapy treatments.
