Hey everybody, This is totally weird for me but I'm reminding myself that mutual aid must be mutual and that accepting help is part of being in community. So I'm reaching out to you, my community, for help and support post-hip surgery. This will be one of a large number of surgeries since May but hopefully the last for a while! I'm having the labrum repaired on my left hip and expect to be on crutches and in a brace through at least the beginning of 2025. So this is me listening to my therapist and asking for some help to make recovery go smoothly. Thanks y'all, Mimi <3 ----

**IMPORTANT UPDATE** As of 11/1, Mimi's surgery was indefinitely postponed due to the national IV shortage linked to the damage and disruptions caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. This is devastating and discouraging on multiple levels, and we are trying to find out footing after this earth shattering news. All of your mutual aid in various forms and supports has been incredibly grounding and healing, and we are so appreciative of all the grace and space that y'all have offered up.
