Story
As many of you know, John and Sydney, both recently underwent surgery and spent time in the hospital. While we’re grateful they’re both on the mend, it’s going to be a slow and patient recovery, especially for John’s leg. The road to healing will take time, and they’ll both need some extra care and support over the coming weeks. For those who know John, you can imagine he’ll be spending much of his time in bed crafting the story of the last two weeks, their respective surgeries, and recovery. Rest assured, each time he tells it, the tale will become a little more humorous —he’ll be thrilled to have an audience for his evolving narrative! If you’re able to offer help—whether it’s providing a meal, lending a hand, or simply offering good vibes—it would mean the world to our family. We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and kindness!
Special Notes
Using the calendar to schedule meal drop-offs and visits is GREATLY APPRECIATED. If Monday or Thursday don't work with your schedule and you want to provide a meal, please sign up for one of the days and make arrangements with Sydney directly. The goal is not to have more than two food drop-offs a week. We don't want your amazing meals to go to waste. John and Sydney share their kind hearts, witty humor, and local involvement with so many. Being deeply cherished community members is such a gift right now. AND, we also want them to have downtime for rest and recovery. To ensure John and Sydney don't have an inadvertent house party, we appreciate you using the calendar system. Thank you in advance! Everyone has been beyond amazing during this wild time.
