Presleigh, who is 7 years old, began having issues with her knees popping out of place approximately 2-3 years ago which is quite painful. This would happen randomly when she was playing sports or doing gymnastics - so she had to stop all of those types of activities. Initially her medical team hoped having both hips operated on would help correct the issue with the knees. So last summer Presleigh underwent bilateral hip surgery at Vanderbilt. During her most recent follow up visit, the medical team noticed that the instability with Presleigh's knees was still an issue. Presleigh is having both knees operated on with hopes of correcting the knee instability. On 2/7/24 she had surgery on the right knee. The procedure on the left knee will be scheduled at a later date. We would love it if you could relieve some of the burden from Joe and Ashleigh by helping with meals over the next few days. This will help them focus on Presleigh's recovery!
