Supporting the Bartz Family

Clayton, NC

Story

This  wonderful family of 4 CONTINUES to need our support.  Their 9 year old daughter just had brain surgery.  UPDATE: I am happy to update this site and let you know that Kenadie’s surgery went well.  She is finally home and resting.   Thank you so much to all who have helped! The family is so GRATEFUL for the outpouring of support.   NOW,  the long road to recovery begins with therapies, rest and more rest. NEW WAYS TO HELP: I have attached their Venmo and PayPal account information so it’s now easier than ever to support the family.  Please read the special notes area for these links.     HISTORY:  Kenadie, age 9, was recently  diagnosed with a disease called Moyamoya. Moyamoya disease is a RARE, progressive cerebrovascular disorder caused by blocked arteries at the base of the brain in an area called the basal ganglia. The name “moyamoya” means “puff of smoke” in Japanese and describes the look of the tangle of tiny vessels formed to compensate for the blockage.    *Please sign up to bring a meal under the calendar section -link provided below.   *If making a meal is not your "thing" please consider a gift card or Venmo then they can choose a meal, pay for gas, etc.

Special Notes

Please CHECK VIA TEXT if the family is accepting visitors.   The family has no allergies to food.  Any meal is appreciated!!!   A BLUE cooler will be left on the porch for food to be placed in case they can't get to the door.   EASY AND HELPFUL  way to support them is with a gift card OR you can even Venmo or use PayPal so that family so they can purchase a meal of their choosing.    *Their Venmo username is SMBartz   *Their PayPal account is: https://www.paypal.me/SMBartz
