Hi everyone! As some of you may know, and some may not our dear friend Destiny has been having some health battles. Earlier this year, her doctor sent her to have an ultrasound of her uterus and such. After the results came her doctor said things were fine and everything looked great. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago the 21st of Feb she went to visit the OB at Good Sam who told her that things were not fine. She would need an immediate surgery/hysteroscopy. We went in hoping for the best. On Monday the 26th we went to her procedure and by Wednesday we had the results. They found Grade 1 Endometrial Carcinoma. Currently all we know is that she is going to have a laparoscopic hysterectomy, they will remove everything and also a lymph node on each side to see if the cancer has spread. So what I’ve shared is what we know. Destiny is scheduled for her surgery on the 20th of March, I am setting this page up as well as an Amazon wish list to try and get some meals and things she may need that will make her life easier. Her partner works full time so I know this will help all around. I will keep everyone updated. Destiny spends her time helping others, and sharing her love with those around her!
