Love for Tegan, Chazden, Shannon and Linda

Yukon, OK

Story

This giveinkind page was created to more easily share medical updates on Tegan, Chazden and Shannon and ways you can help so that Shannon and Linda can focus all attention on the girls as the healing process will be very long and right now Tegan is very critical. They are immensely grateful for your texts and calls but feel bad they can’t get back to you all with everything going on; they are very overwhelmed. Please come here or to the Facebook Updates group for all updates moving forward and to learn how to pray and how to help. No visitors at this time. And she cannot accept flowers in the ICU. To update those who are just hearing the news: Shannon, Tegan and Chazden are beginning a long recovery process after a horrific wreck resulting in critical injuries to Tegan. On July 14, 2021, they were in their vehicle when hit by a train. Tegan is in critical condition with massive internal injuries. She needs our urgent prayers for the internal injuries and for the brain swelling and brain injuries to resolve quickly so they can do surgery on the other injuries. We thank God already that the brain swelling has stopped, but we need it to go down completely and for her traumatic brain injury to heal. We are believing for a miracle! Please stand with us in faith that she will be fully healed. Shannon has 5 broken ribs and one spot on her back broken. She’s in incredible pain, but she was discharged and is now able to visit Tegan. They are all three suffering from scrapes, massive full body bruises and the shock of the traumatic event. Ways to help: 1. Pray. Pray. Pray. 2. Give via GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/58bfe6c6 3. Give by Depositing a gift at any BancFirst location; Tell them it is for "Shannon & Family Train Wreck Recovery Fund" 4. Donate by sending a gift card. You can either select from the Wish List to the right of this Story section (which will send the giftcard via email directly to Linda), or drop it off on their porch - but please do not knock on the door. 5. Sign-up to deliver a meal or have a meal delivered. Please read those instructions carefully. Thank you for your support and prayers! They are overwhelmed by the generosity already, but this is a long recovery. Please dig deep and give generously to help this family during this most trying time so Shannon can focus entirely on her girls and their health and not worry about missing work / income.

Special Notes

For those who sign up for meal delivery: They prefer healthier meals when possible. Linda and Chazzy eat most anything. No allergies. If possible use disposable containers so they don't have return dishes. Please drop the food off around 6pm. Leave it on the table on the front porch. Cover the food with the towel to keep it warm. If you have salads or cold food items, leave them in the ice chest already there on the porch. If you need ice, simply text me (Jennifer) and I will make sure there is ice packs put on it to keep it cold but not frozen: 405/408-6954. We respectfully ask that you please do not knock on the door. They are already wore out and need to simply eat, shower and rest when home. Thank you for understanding.
