Friends and family, my uncle Jim had a medical emergency event last week where his aorta ripped and he was taken into emergency surgery. His heart stopped beating for 7 minutes, possible brain damage is suspected. He has also had seizures, a resting heart rate of 136 (very high), and he has been unresponsive to prompt commands. He was expected to wake up post surgery but hasn’t. An MRI is needed but he is hooked up to a lot of equipment. More is yet to be determined. His wife Suzanne and two children Hannah and Gavin have been visiting at the hospital and have a lot to oversee in addition to this weighing heavily on them. They know we and our church family have been praying for them, thank you for those who have joined in lifting him and their family up!
