Sandy Chen launched Table23 in 2012 as a way to support community nonprofit organizations. Beginning with Koi Fine Asian Cuisine & Lounge in Evanston, Chen expanded the program, making it available at French Mediterranean restaurant, Le Sud, in Roscoe Village. When guests make a reservation at any of these restaurants and request Table23, Chen will donate 23 percent of the diners’ bill to the local charity of the month. Each restaurant supports a different nonprofit in its community, and to date, Chen has assisted in raising thousands of dollars to help nonprofits gain exposure, grow and attain necessary funds to create a better community. During the COVID-19 period, this funding will allowing Table23 Foundation to provide food for hospital staff. homeless shelters, restaurant industry workers, low income residence, and ,much more.
Thank you for your generosity. We are in this together! - Sandy Chen
