Mr. Alonzo was truly one of the most kind hearted man anyone could meet. If there is a definition of being present and “showing up”; Sam’s smiling picture would be part of it. To celebrate his life and have his legacy continue; we are creating a “Sam’s Golden Ticket” Scholarship. (Please note this is a surprise to Amber and the Alonzo family) This scholarship recipient will be chosen by the EDS Staff yearly and will receive an all expenses paid enrollment into the company intensive plus be recognized on a plaque at the studio. Possible winners should encompass the following qualities; dedicated to the skill of dance, volunteer in their community, have a kind hearted demeanor, helpful to those in need, outgoing, and always shows up. An additional quality would be the love of candy especially chocolate ;). All of which are qualities of Mr. Alonzo.
