Team Cameron Frisone

Rockland, ME

Story

This page has been started to coordinate support for my nephew Cameron Frisone, who was recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He is a strong 12 yr old boy but there is a long, uncertain road ahead for Cameron, his parents and his 2 brothers. We've had an astounding amount of outreach from the community we live in and I was introduced to this site by a member of our church. It seems like this is a wonderful way to put some organization to meal trains, financial donations, etc and to indicate some of the family's preferences with regard to privacy and special health concerns. We want to thank our church, St Brendan the Navigator Parish, the Knights of Columbus (Limerock Council #136) and a legion of dear friends for stepping up to shoulder some of the burden that we are facing at this time. There will be lots of medical treatments in Portland, extra medical costs, hours lost at work and hours apart from each other for the Frisone family over the next several months. Please review the calendar to see where there is a need for a meal made from the heart, a gift card, etc where you might help the family get through this better. We'll count on you to work in prayers according to your own schedule. When everyone does a little, it really can turn into a lot. It is our intention to get Cameron's situation stabalized a bit and to focus on his needs at this time. Our family hopes to turn that focus toward other families that need support and to pay forward any generosity or love shown to us as soon as possible for the benefit of others. Best, Brooks Stevens

Special Notes

The schedule for Cam's treatment is still a bit whacky, so meals that freeze well or even a gift card for Pizza or Subs might be best, in case things can't be eaten as planned. Our Mantra is "No Fevers, No Infections!". These would be very detrimental to Camerons recovery. Please feel welcome to drop by the Frisone's home at 83 Grace St., Rockland to share a moment with them or to drop off a meal. But they are also requesting clean hands and masks for anyone that comes by. Thank you for your help with this.
