On 9/1/2021, Brandy received a call from Chase regarding an accident on Highway 280. God and their parent intuition made them start checking on the oldest kids. They soon found that Madyson and Mayson were involved in a horrendous car wreck with another vehicle. They were then taken to Children’s Hospital by ambulance where they’ve found multiple injuries. Mayson appeared to be in the best condition but there were concerns for internal injuries as he was thrown from their Jeep and eventually found out to have also hit the large metal flagpole. He suffered Lumbar spine fractures, a right rib fracture, and pelvic fracture as well as a spleen laceration. Madyson had multiple facial injuries- nasal and facial fractures along with cuts and injuries to her eye requiring eye and plastic surgery on 9/2/21. God had his hand on these children and kept them from suffering from any worse injuries. This beautiful family now will be attempting to adapt their lives for children that will require initially full time care. I know that many have asked how they can help and I wanted to help coordinate that love and support the best we could for them!
