Story
Hello Friends, We have recently found out that I am going to be needing to undergo surgery. As most of you already know, this is not a small thing for either myself or my family. Both Justin and I are disabled, and chronically ill. Daily life is challenging, even when we are dealing with the best type of days, but it is monumentally harder under conditions such as surgical recovery. My surgery is predicted to be a two week recovery, however due to the possibility of it being significantly more complex when we are actually in the operating room it could be longer than that. My history with surgery has not been very good. Unfortunately I suffer from severe complications with anesthesia. Because of this I am being hospitalized following my procedure. I am the cook in our family, and I have been told that cooking and doing dishes are not on my list of acceptable activities for the duration of my recovery...in fact...there are not very many things on that list. Justin suffers from an extremely painful neurological disease, so picking up the cooking is simply not physically possible for him. Because of this, we could really use some help with our meals during my recovery time. We would all be very grateful to have a little bit less to worry about while I am resting and healing.
Special Notes
Justin has a Gluten Allergy. He becomes ill if he ingests any food that contains any wheat ingredients. We purchase items at the grocery store that specifically are marked Gluten Free and we choose restaurants that feature Gluten free options or menus.
