Story
I wanted to share some news of my daughter and son-in-law’s sweet furbabies, hoping we can help others to never have to go through this kind of pain. Somehow their Aussies, who were playing in their backyard, had been exposed to a very strong, aggressive rat poison that had taken 2 (3 year olds) of their 3 very healthy dogs and landed them in the ER. The Mansfield ER did their best to save Monty before he passed so quickly, leaving them to now try to save Georgie (named after George Strait). Georgie is fighting hard with the amazing care from Alvarado veterinary clinic, but his vet is concerned and stumped that he is now seeing blood in his urine. He also told us Georgie’s liver values are bad. Thankfully, Ricki, their miniature Aussie, is doing well. We’ve tried to find the source of how they could have gotten into this, with our only answer being that it was a malicious attack. How sad is that!? Since Georgie is still not improving, he will remain hospitalized with IV and 24-hour care, which is their only chance at getting him well. They appreciate all the love and support from friends and family during this time. Your prayers mean the world to all of us, and Georgie. We will keep you updated on his progress. Thank you for being there for us.
