Sign up below to book your session with her to capture the moments in a gorgeous greenhouse as you shop, plant, eat, and support us! --- About OTRCAC: Over The Rainbow Children’s Advocacy Center is located in Chambersburg, PA. We provide a safe, child-friendly place for children and their families to receive services that help to restore hope and provide healing from child abuse. Children’s Advocacy Centers minimize the trauma that can be experienced by a child during a child abuse investigation. This is done by utilizing a multidisciplinary team response to child abuse & providing services on-site for the child and their family. We believe that Every child has the right and deserves to grow up in a world free from abuse. We need your help! Nationally, Children's Advocacy Centers saw an ~10% decline in the number of children interviewed following allegations of abuse in 2020 compared to 2019. This decline is mainly attributed to the initial shutdown in March and April of 2020, which prevented children from having access to safe adults, which led to a significant drop in reporting, both in our community and nationwide. This drop in cases does not indicate fewer cases of abuse, instead it reinforces the importance of our teachers, counselors, and other mandatory reporters. With COVID we have also not been able to fundraise as normal.
