On April 16,2024 Val was headed down Gordon Highway in Augusta GA on her motorcycle. A woman in a sedan failed to come to a complete stop and look before pulling out of her neighborhood. This left Val with no time to react to the situation. Val hit the sedan at the front tire causing Val to fly off her motorcycle. When she flew, she crushed her pelvic area on her handlebars before flipping over the sedan. Val went through major surgery to become a bionic woman and had metal plates and screws attached to her bones to fix the break. She will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future. She will have to learn to regain strength and mobility in her lower part of the body. Val has an amazing husband, Adam, who has been trying to figure out how to navigate this new life with their 3 children Mia, DJ, and Luca. Any help would be appreciated as these times will be rough for them. They have amazing friends and family who were asking how to help so I found this website which seems to be amazing. Val and Adam are super grateful people and they are grateful that everyone has been showing love and support❤️
