On April 29, 2024, Nick was working his environmental and emergency services job when he broke his fibula. He was working in a roll box off the back of his semi-truck when his leg got stuck and he fell backward leaving him hanging on by his shin. He'll spend the next 6-8 weeks in a boot. In the meantime, he'll be recovering while his wife works full-time and cares for Nick and their toddler. As anyone who has been injured knows, being physically forced to stop all activities abruptly is stressful and painful. As friends of the Nave family, we wanted to start a meal train to help them by keeping their stomachs full and their hearts reminded that people are here to love on them!
