As many of you know, Kayla and the Arave’s have been living in a nightmare for the last nine months. Kayla suffered a scratch to her cornea in May of last year, and that developed into an extreme rare fungal infection. Susan, as we lovingly call Kayla’s eye, has shown improvements here and there but not near what it needs to be, which has resulted in a corneal transplant taking place Feb. 13th. If you know Kayla, you love her. She’s the single most giving, kind hearted person and we’re so lucky to call the Araves our best friends that have become family. If you'd like to help them out during her healing process, meals are welcome to be delivered!
