In August of 2024 my wifes mental status started to fade unknowing of what was going on I thought she was just having headaches and loss of balance. After a few days of her spacing off I took her to the hospital thought maybe she had a stroke. To our surprise she had a big tumor called a craniipharyngiomas. This tumor was blocking her brain fluid from being released, causing hydrocephalus. 

She was rushed from our hospital to a better hospital and a big city and within 2 days was under the knife. Due to the type of tumor that was and the location on and around the pituitary gland they weren't able to remove all of it safely. She spent over 38 days in the ICU and another 26 days and a regular bed in the hospital. After 2 months of being in the hospital she finally got to come home, although at this point she couldn't remember where that was or her kid's names or people she knew. Her memory was barely there. She started radiation therapy and was 3 weeks into it when she started acting a little different. The doctors had noticed she was off. So they stopped the radiation therapy. A few days later everything started going downhill so I made a trip to the emergency room at the big hospital. That was the last day of my wife was able to speak,walk,eat without a tube going in her stomach.  My lovely wife spent another 3 month in hospital, and has gone back and forth from home for a week or two, to the hospital. She is almost catatonic, but I can still see her in her eyes, she is just unable to express herself. Her pain is outrageous, and moans and cries most of the time. But we are glad she is still here.
As you can imagine life has been hard for her.  And extremely hard for me and the kids. Having to take care of everything alone has been the most challenging thing I have ever done. And it will never compare to what she has been through. I had to get rid of my job to care for her, because she needs 24hour care now. And as you can imagine bills don't stop for knowone. 
We just need help.
