Dillon began caring for himself and responsible for his own life at fifteen. At some point,  during his shifts at his three jobs, he injured himself more than he knew. When Macyn was born in 2011, he had a flare up that nearly immobilized him and kept him from holding his first baby for nearly six weeks. Fast forward to today, he was told he would require a microdiscectomy on June 3rd and will be out for six weeks.
