Hi all, after 6 years of being in constant pain, I finally received a diagnosis of endometriosis in 2019. There is currently no cure for endometriosis, but there are medications to help slow the progress. I have tried multiple medications with no success. I have reached out to an endometriosis specialist in Hershey PA and it has been decided that although a hysterectomy is not a cure or treatment for endometriosis it will help with the pain and provide better quality of life! I have been scheduled for surgery on Sept 6,2024 in Hershey PA As long as all goes smooth, I will be released and drive right home that evening. Those who know me well know that I'm a busy body and recovery will be tough for me as I don't know how to sit still. To prevent me from pushing and attempting to cook meals for week one of my recovery I have set up a meal train for help! Any help is appreciated as myself and the girls would prefer Todd not try to cook dinner for the week 😂
