Dear Friends and Family, This page was created in support of the Hembree family. After vacationing in Durango, Colorado, the Hembrees were involved in a head-on collision with an out-of-control vehicle headed in the opposite direction. All three family members sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. Thankfully, they are all alive but there is a very long recovery ahead. Holly was airlifted to a children's hospital in Denver where she is currently receiving treatment as of today, October 9. She has undergone several emergency surgical procedures and is scheduled for spinal surgery on October 11. Kacey will be heading to a rehab facility in Arizona, hopefully, by week's end. Shelton and grandma will stay with Holly in the hospital until she is discharged and can travel safely back home. Anyone who knows this family likely calls one or all of them a friend. Their kindness and generosity over the years have touched many lives. They need our love and support, now more than ever! This meal train is a wonderful way we can all show our love and support for Kasey, Shelton and Holly. With meals taken care of that's one less task to worry about and more energy for their recovery. Please take a moment to look over the meal calendar and schedule a small contribution if you are able. Currently, all days of the week are requested and open. With Shelton staying in Denver to watch over Holly, gift cards are the most helpful until they arrive home.
