My dad, Chris Jones, was diagnosed with stage 3 liposcaroma in November. This is a rare and aggressive cancer. Since his diagnosis things have moved fairly quickly. He’s been through four rounds of chemotherapy and now going to have surgery in attempt to remove the tumor. This will be an extensive surgery, involving multiple different surgeons. The surgery is scheduled for May 21st. It is unknown how long he will be in the hospital after his surgery or how long it will be until he is back to “normal”. I created this page in attempt to relieve some stress from my mom and dad during this period. I know the days/weeks following the surgery are going to be long and exhausting, I don’t want them to have to think about what to fix for dinner. I have set up a meal train sign up from the time of surgery until month after the surgery, as for the time they’re in the hospital I’m sure DoorDash will be their best friend.
