Hey folks, Kate here. My mum, Polly, needs some extra helping hands in the coming month through her back surgery recovery! She is living alone and will need help with the basics. The start date of her care calendar is tentative as it depends on her discharge date. Backstory: After years of chronic back pain, Mum is finally getting back surgery (laminectomy/spinal fusion) on Wed. July 21st 2021 to alleviate her sciatica, remove a spinal cyst, and stabilize her vertebrae. She will be hospitalized for a few days following the surgery. I will bring her in for surgery and spend as much time as possible with her during visiting hours. Once she has been released, she will be heading home. I will also be bringing her home UNLESS she is discharged on Sunday July 25th. We are looking for someone who would be able to take her home on this day.
