I hope this message finds everyone well. I am writing to share some difficult news about my dear sister. She is currently going through an incredibly challenging time in her life, and I kindly ask for your support and understanding during this period. Tanya experienced an unfortunate incident while closing her pool for the season, resulting in a fractured (broken) ankle in three different places. She has been hospitalized for eight days and was recently transferred to a rehabilitation facility to maintain her strength. Currently, she has an external fixator, which includes a pin through her heel and four pins in her shin bone, to stabilize the injury while awaiting surgery. Unfortunately, her scheduled surgery was postponed due to the discovery of a blood clot in her lung, causing respiratory distress. Her children are struggling to cope with their mother's absence from home, and I have set up a Meal Train to assist them during this difficult time. Any help you can provide, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and compassion. It truly takes a village to support one another in times of need.
